Wednesday Service
12:00 p.m. Holy Eucharist

Sundays at Grace Episcopal Church offer two services, each with its own reverent character.

Those seeking quieter and more meditative worship may come on Sunday at 8:00 a.m. for The Holy Eucharist service celebrated in the Rite I tradition.

At 10:00 a.m. the Holy Eucharist Rite II is celebrated, Music is often provided by the Grace Choir.

The Children’s Sunday school service at 10:00 a.m. is for children aged three to twelve. The Gospel is told in story form. At the end of the Gospel lesson the children join their families for the Offertory and Communion.

During the week, The Holy Eucharist is celebrated and the Church's healing ministries offered during the Thursday 12:00p.m. services.

Special concerns of the church and individual parishioners are prayed for at each Eucharist. Morning Prayer and Evening Prayer are also said on various days.

Baptisms
Part of the Sacramental life of every Christian, Baptism is “full initiation by water and the Holy Spirit into Christ’s Body the Church.” Holy Baptism is administered optionally during the Eucharist at four principal feasts of the year: The Easter Vigil, Pentecost, All Saints and The Feast of the Baptism of Jesus. In addition, Holy Baptism may be scheduled once during each of the remaining months of the year (excluding Lent and Advent) at a 10:00a.m. Eucharist. Baptisms may also be scheduled on Saturday mornings for pastoral consideration.

If you wish to be baptized, or to schedule the baptism of your child, please call {insert name and telephone number, and email address here}

Parents planning the baptism of their children are strongly encouraged to attend the baptismal class which is offered quarterly.

Deaths
Death is a cared mystery on the horizon of life for each of us. Death does not mean the end of life; rather it means life is changed. God in His merciful love comforts us with the hope of everlasting life with Him in His glorious and eternal kingdom.

Funerals
To bury the dead is one of the Church’s seven corporal works of mercy.

When flowers are desired at the altars the Altar Guild will arrange for those displays with the family of the deceased and the florists we customarily use. That florist will bill the family directly.

If a more elaborate funeral is planned, fees may be assessed by Grace Episcopal Church to cover the cost of soloists, musicians and receptions held at the church. Honoraria may be made to the participating clergy and organists but such gifts are neither required nor prescribed.

Home/Hospital Visitation
The clergy and designated laity visit our hospitalized and shut-in parishioners to bring them news of the parish, to pray with them, to provide sacramental care, and to be a reminder of God’s aiding presence.

Increasingly hospitalizations are for shorter and shorter duration. When you anticipate hospitalization, or when it occurs suddenly to you or someone you love, please call or email to notify us of your or your loved one’s impending hospitalization. We will make every effort to visit you during your time of treatment and will include you in our parish prayers.
